If you're determined you are a candidate for
cosmetic dentistry, it's now time to be
prepared for a smile analysis.
Perform this smile analysis in front of a
mirror mounted on a wall
and in good light condition. Do not use a
hand held mirror.

Do you have spaces between your front
teeth?
-
Are your two upper front teeth too long?
-
Are your two upper front teeth too wide?
-
Are there biting edges worn down?
-
Are your front teeth crowded or
overlapping?
-
Do your teeth slant one way or another?
-
Are your upper six front teeth even in
length?
-
Do your front teeth protrude or stick
out?
-
Are any of your teeth missing?
-
Is the midline of your two front teeth
centered with your face and nose?
-
If your front teeth have tooth colored
fillings, do they match the shade of your teeth?
-
Do you show too much gum tissue when you
smile?
-
Do any old or recently crowned teeth not
match your natural teeth?
-
Are your lower six front teeth straight?
-
Is one of your front teeth darker than
the others?
-
Are your gums pink and scalloped, or are
they red and swollen?
